November 8/23  Juanita Butler, November’s speaker gave a very interesting and thorough talk on CHATS telling us of the myriad services it has available to assist seniors in their day to day lives and help make living at home more manageable. Juanita fielded questions from the audience on how CHATS is funded and the vital role played by volunteers. October 11/23  Leah den Bok, our speaker for October gave an excellent presentation on homelessness and the difficulties faced for them to simply survive. Leah’s assistant for the morning, her mother, helped with the video as well as the sale of Leah’s three books.
